Key Takeaways

No Partner Pay for Slots or Casino Streams

Kick co-founder Ed Craven told a gambling streamer on June 3 that the platform’s Kick Partner Program (KPP) “doesn’t currently reward viewership from Slots or Casino streams.” The streamer, known as TheDoctor, had complained – in reply to a Kick post urging creators to hide their view counts and focus on “more authentic metrics” – that he had never been offered a Kick deal despite nearly 100,000 followers, roughly 2,000 average viewers and almost 10-hour daily streams. Craven wrote that the streamer would “perform really amazing in other categories” and closed with “we’re here to support you.”

The remark, surfaced by win.gg, is a rare on-record acknowledgment from Craven – who co-founded both Kick and the crypto casino Stake – that the platform’s flagship creator-payout program excludes the gambling content Kick is closely associated with.

TheDoctor is not a straightforward example of a sidelined creator. He promotes the gambling platform DegenCity through his own affiliate code and a $100,000 leaderboard competition, and days earlier had announced he was leaving Kick over a 30-second ad. His complaint nonetheless drew Craven into plainly stating what KPP will and will not pay for – and underscored how a gambling streamer like TheDoctor earns through operator and affiliate deals rather than platform partner pay.
