Precision Execution for On-Chain Traders

Multi-chain decentralized exchange (DEX) Ring Protocol recently announced an integration with blockchain infrastructure provider Orbs, enabling the deployment of advanced algorithmic trading tools across four major blockchain networks.

The partnership brings Orbs’ decentralized limit order (dLIMIT) and time-weighted average price (dTWAP) protocols to Ring Protocol traders on Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. Operating on Orbs’ Layer 3 infrastructure, the tools allow users to set precise entry and exit parameters without relinquishing custody of their digital assets or paying extra platform fees.

Ring Protocol was already a key player in multi-chain liquidity prior to the integration. By utilizing Few Protocol to wrap tokens before automated market maker (AMM) execution, the platform unlocks virtual liquidity that has driven more than $5 billion in total volume. Ring Protocol currently holds over $30 million in total value locked (TVL) across its native swap and aggregator network.

The new features address long-standing execution challenges in decentralized finance (DeFi), where traders traditionally faced limited order flexibility compared to centralized exchanges.

Through dLIMIT, traders can schedule buy or sell orders that execute only when a targeted market price is reached or beaten. Meanwhile, dTWAP allows participants to split large orders into smaller chunks spread over a specified timeframe, minimizing price slippage and market impact on low-liquidity pairs.

“Advanced trading tools should be available to every DeFi user, not just professional traders,” said Ran Hammer, Chief Business Officer at Orbs. “By bringing dLIMIT and dTWAP to Ring Protocol, we’re expanding access to sophisticated on-chain execution across another fast-growing trading venue.”

Unlike centralized execution services, Orbs’ protocols rely on its decentralized proof-of-stake validator network to monitor and trigger trades automatically. The consensus layer acts as a decentralized backend, allowing DEXs to support complex order logic without altering their core smart contracts.

The rollout expands Orbs’ footprint across the DeFi ecosystem, joining previous deployments on major platforms including Pancakeswap, Sushiswap, and Quickswap.
